Hi

Nova Music Festival, Kibbutz Zikim, and meeting a young group of people on their way to join IDF touched my heart.

The Times of Israel wrote about our trip to Israel.

In Israel I also met a Holocaust surviver and heard her story about how she as a little girl starved, saw her brother die of starvation and her father shot dead, while clinging to his leg, but surviving. She fled to Israel for freedom and safety after the WW2, and is now living in Israel. About Ocotber 7th she said that it was not a new Holocaust, because Israel has an army that stopped it.

Learning more about the Holocaust in these times with rapidly growing Jew hatred everywhere, you really understand why Israel exists – as a Jewish state. And why Israel is necessary to avoid more genocide.

A lot of Christians were telling me I might meet Jesus in Jerusalem. I dinn’t meet Jesus, nor have I converted to Judaism, but the spirit of Israel is breathtaking. Their commitment to stand up for themselves and insist on life, coexistence and a better world – all at the same time, is beyond inspiring. I wrote a note for God and put it in the wall- just in case he’s real. It said “freedom and democracy for all”. Plus Israel has the best food. You must visit Israel, if you haven’t already.

I always knew Israel was a great country, but the Israelis are so amazing – fun, loving and smart. So humble. In Yad Vashem which is The World Holocaust Rememberance Center we were being shown how the Jews were documenting the Holocaust in Poland, within the ghetto – totally closed of. And I started thinking about how I don’t’ know about – how us Iranians don’t know exactly how many people the regime has killed since 1979.

And I just started crying. So much of what the Nazis did remind me of this evil Islamic regime. I was crying through the whole visit at Yad Vashem, because it is beyond horrible what happened– and how it happened.
